Here we go driving our oldest car from Lousiana to Washington. There was no air conditioning, and the day we left it was over a 100 degrees! Leilah decided to help herself out and put a wet pair of kole's underwear (from water, not the other :) ) on her head.
Needless to say, the radiator of the car cracked after only driving an hour and a half. Dad said lets go back....I said, no way...this car is going to washington. Dad found some puddy to put on the crack, then we drove to an auto-parts store and bought a new radiator. We then drove another several hours until morning, where finally the puddy gave out on us. Thankfully, there was a little shop just a block away where they put our new radiator in that morning.
The kids were great--they drove so many hours in that hot car and they still managed to have fun!!!
